Pick up your FREE De-Stereotype Day T-Shirts now! You can grab a T-shirt on the lawn or outside Newcomb this week!

We invite you to write a stereotype that you are or that you break on your T-shirt and wear it Thursday, April 19. 

Mix It Up

After De-Stereotype Day, come celebrate at Mix It Up, hosted by Sustained Dialogue! The event will be at Rapture on the Down Town Mall from 10:00PM to 2:00AM on April 19th. It is co-sponsored by the Black Student Alliance, Queer Student Union, and Third Culture Kids and will be full of fun and fascinating people ready to mingle and party! It’s going to be a great night of dancing, socializing, and relaxing after a week of exciting De-Stereotype events!
Tickets are $5 for those under 21 and $3 for people over 21.

Alternative Spring Break

Not sure what you’re doing for Spring Break yet? Want to do something different? Go on an Alternative Spring Break trip and travel to one of three dozen destinations all around the world- spend your break on a service learning trip working in environmental conservation, youth services, housing and hunger services or medical services.

We have trips heading to New Orleans, Portland, the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, the Smoky Mountains, San Juan TX, NYC, Honduras, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Trinidad or Belize! Opportunities for service learning grants and financial aid are available.
